Card Sketch December #1

Wednesday, December 5, 2007

Happy Wednesday! This weeks card sketch is below. Lots of opportunity to personalize with this one! I have another card done with this that I'll share later this week. As usual for the digitally inclined the digital card template is available for download here.

Here is my card for this week! Hybrid card made with the November Scrapstreet free kit by my friend Janneke. I just LOVE this digi paper and had to use it out! I used the template and printed onto cardstock, then added the rub-ons, flower etc. Loving the hybrid!

Supplies: Papers: Janneke Smit-Falling into Fun (scrapstreet.com); Flower: Doodlebug; button: Junkitz; Rub-ons: Joanns/DCWV

Jackie made this cute "little ballerina princess" card with her paper scraps and stamps. Love the colors on this card, paired with the stamps they really work well together!

Card by Jackie Price
Supplies: Paper Scraps; Studio G Stamps; Stazon ink

Indah made a beautiful digital card. Love the alphabet on this card, with all the little flowers and tags. So cute!

Wendy as always shows us her elegant style with lace, stamping and stickles! I love that the team have such a wide variety of styles. It's always fun seeing the cards emailed in and thinking "wow look what they did this week!". Great card Wendy!

Card by Wendy McGlinchey
Supplies:- White card Stock, Versafine sepia ink pad, two lengths of crocheted lace, Image from Joanna Sheen Enchanted Christmas CD, Tanda Stamp Greeting Stamp, Copic pens and airbrush system and Gold Stickles

I admit I am very partial to Cindy's style. She just rocks the cards and this one is no exception. Love the papers with the scallop and the stitching. The circle embellishment with ribbon just finishes the card off beautifully!

Card by Cindy Gilchrist
Supplies: K&Co Patterned Paper, DCWV Cardstock, K&Co Chipboard Embellishment, Ribbon (unknown brand), Colorbox Chalk Ink, Machine Stitching.

I love the papers on this card by Pearl. Being an SEI fan I am loving their "ally's playground" line. Pearl teamed the SEI with bling for a great card!

Card by Pearl Liu
Supplies: Bazzill CS , Cellphone bling , DCWV quote sticker, SEI Ally's playground paper, chipboard & beaded flower

This is the second card from Jackie this week, the girl is rocking her scraps! I think this sketch works well for scraps as all you need is a 3" strip across the card. Love how Jackie pulled the ink color from the patterned paper, really ties the card together well!

Card by Jackie Price
Supplies: Paper Scraps; Studio G Stamps; Stazon ink

My Mom chose to rotate the sketch this week. I love that she's thinking about that now and getting braver, trying new things!

Card by Linda Flinders

Kelly followed the sketch to a tee, with this Holiday themed card. Love the non traditional colors and the tree stamp! Beautiful!

Card by Kelly Nelson
Supplies: Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey patterned paper, Deja Views rubon, inkadinkadoo stamp, encore metallic ink, embossing powder, faux stitching

Jo went with a flower embellishment for this thanks card. The white sentiment really works well with the white cardstock, great card!

Card by Jo Willis
Used: Papermill card, K&Co classic McKenna paper, lace from collection, Cuttlebug die-cut greeting, flower from dismantled fabric flower, button from collection, Marvy pen.

Jolene gives us a splash of color with this card using papers from Basic Grey. She used rick rack for an extra touch instead of the scallop, which works well with these papers. Great card!

Card by Jolene Johnston
Supplies: Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey Infuse papers, Prima flowers, Bo Bunny brad, Colorbox chalk ink, JoAnn rub on, American Crafts rick rack

Pretty Holiday card from Angela this week! Love the papers, and the bunched ribbon as the embellishment really adds a great touch!

Download link works fine. Maybe sendspace was busy? I dunno, I just checked it and it comes up fine for me. Anyone else having problems?

Many, many thanks for the template, it's fantastic as always and the cards made with it, terrific. :)

I have made several cards and have them in a blog I'm already working on, so I still have to include credits in the layouts I have uploaded but if you check a card section in it you will find that almost all the cards have been made with your templates. :)

If you wish to check the gallery with the cards the link is

Scrapbooking gallery-Digital cards

Except for the first one the rest of the cards have been made with your sketches. :)

I hope to have the time to include credits in the cards and layouts this week. :)

Thanks so much for the template and best wishes. :)
