Another recap of crafty inspiration from the interwebs, my recent top 5 includes:
Regular readers will know my love for recycled crafts, what can I say? I am a frugal environmentalist at heart! SO when I saw this DIY Storm trooper helmet made from Milk Jugs I just had to share! Filth Wizardry blog has a tutorial on how to make this great kids project. Just in time for Halloween too!
These cute bookmarks really drew my attention this week as I loved the simple design. Kinda remind me of something you'd see in Simple magazine? Full instructions are on the "little hut" blog of Patricia Zapata. Totally cute!
From the same blog Patricia also featured these halloween note cards for kids. How cute are these? They'd be great to print and put in lunchbags this month! She posted the download link for the freebie so stop by her blog to download the notecards.
There is a tutorial up on "maggie makes" for making this cute rag rug. This totally reminds me of my childhood we used to make rag rugs all the time, or the wool loop rugs. I just love anything that has a focus on being green, environmental, and recycling. I think this would be a great project for kids too, recycling clothes into rugs! Fun!
Frugal Fashionista is a great blog aimed at providing readers with great celebrity fashion looks on a budget. If you love the style of a particular celebrity but don't have the Hollywood budget then this is the blog for you. Every post has a photo of the celeb in an outfit and achieve the same look but for less $$! Now some of the items in the budget look are still out of my budget but fun to look at nonetheless.
