Here is what we did Wednesday...

Those on the newsletter list will note that we went to the beach Wednesday, and for the first time we took the dogs! Dog friendly beaches are few and far between but we found some that weren't too far away. The girls were super excited to be traveling as always. But they sat for the most part of the 45 minute ride in the truck pretty quietly (thanks to doggy seatbelts they stayed there too). Here are a couple of pics from Wednesdays outing to Ventura , Harbor Cove beach.

We had an awesome day. Both dogs weren't that afraid of the ocean. River was the first to paddle, which is strange as she HATES water with a passion. As long as it was her legs she was ok, as soon as it got to her belly she was done! We are so proud of Sky though! Our little swimmer! Pics we have of her swimming are crappy but man that was a sight to see! Course they both had to bear the rinsing off afterwards (wet sand, urgh!). And naturally I had to wade in with them so they'd actually go in the ocean in the first place!

In all a great day and we'll definitely take them again.
