Friday Freebie - For the birds

Friday, February 15, 2008

I enjoyed the little giveaways last few weeks, and plan on having more! As I'm cleaning out my stash, occasionally I come across things I've not used, don't want anymore, or plain just aren't my style. I don't want to seem ungrateful, but sometimes the goodie boxes I get have things in that I just won't use, because they are totally not "me". I've been scrapbooking long enough now to know what is me, what I can use and what I will use.

So with that said if anyone is interested in a little prize drawing for this stamp below, post a comment and I'll do a random drawing on Monday.

It was a limited edition stamp, part of the 2jills card kit back in October 2007. And, although I like it, for the life of me I cannot use it. If I'm going to stamp something like this, I prefer cartoony, more lighthearted stuff, or maybe something more realistic. This is right slap in the middle of my "not me" category. So rather than toss it, I figure RAK it to someone who does want it, and who WILL use it.

back soon with creative stuff!

Di

I found your blog through iScrap- I'm using one of your layout designs for my scrapbook. It was perfect and just what I was looking for! Such a relief for somebody new to the world of scrapping. Thanks!

I hope I get it, since I am a beginner at stamping, and don't have to many, thank you for giving it away.

Wow, it is a cute stamp. I am sorry you don't like it. I can see lots of possibilities with it. I t would be great on a layout of the bird pictures I have. (We feed the birds in the front yard and the babies love to watch)
