Di Hickman: World Card Making Day!

Did you know that today is World Card Making Day? Well it is! If you are one of the many cardmakers in the World then "hey how you doing? what you creating?" if you aren't a cardmaker then WHY THE HECK NOT? Lol! Seriously though cardmaking for me is so satisfying and I enjoy it much more than scrapbooking. They can be quick and easy, technique laden, so many variety of styles and (the main reason for me making my own cards) they can be cheap to make.

World Card Making Day is always the first Saturday in October and was created to kick off the holiday card making season! Afterall there are only 11 weeks till the holidays! YIKES! I'm not doing too bad since I made a head start on my holiday cards back in July. Anyway whether you are an experienced card maker, or completely new I like to think I provide lots of card inspiration on the blog! From sharing card sketches and published cards, to cards made just for fun there are usually multiple cards on the blog each week (especially sketch days on Wednesdays!).

Anyway I thought I would share some recent published cards from "Just Cards!" magazine Vol 9. This is a great magazine for cardmakers, over 300 cards in each issue which full step by step instructions for each card! Happy World Card Making Day!
