Scrapbooking.com January

Tuesday, January 5, 2010

It's a new month and time to share projects done for the January article of Scrapbooking.com, magazine. I love seeing the new issue each month and seeing my article online :) This month I went for something a little different and played with Shrink Plastic. I have an affinity with crafts from my childhood (knitting, crochet & shrinky dink etc) so this was something that really made me reminisce back to good old the days. Here are my projects from the January issue:

First up a card with a detachable keyring made from shrink plastic. This was made with the inkject shrink plastic and it's awesome stuff! Definitely made me think of future projects I could do with the stuff! Skies the limit I think when you can print on it!

For this issue I also went outside my "box" and made something wearable! I used some stamps from Pink Paislee and Daisy Bucket to create this bracelet. Just something fun to wear, and it really was something I don't normally make, but really made me appreciate the versatility of this product!

Also From now until January 31, sign up for Scrapbooking.com Magazine's Weekly Newsletter and be entered to win a Cricut Expression from Provo Craft.
