We're open for business!

Today is the opening day for the Digital Store at Treasures to Scrap! I'm excited to be a part of this new venture for them, and to be designing again. I thought I'd share everything I've been working on this past couple of weeks! Plus announce that we have an introductory storewide sale of 30% off!! This includes everything except the grab-bags (more on that later). I believe the sale ends Saturday!

Ok as you know I love making templates/sketches so here is my first 12 x 12 template pack available for sale. Diagrams! Get it? My buddy Robin thought it up during on of our lengthy IM conversations this week. I love the kick-starts name but Diagrams is just too "me", lol. Each pack comes with the layered PSD files and individual PNG files, @ 300 dpi. They come in a set of 6 for $5.00 but the sale on this week makes them just $3.50 Don't you love the name?


And I also did the templates as 8.5" x 11" too! All the templates are portrait, but I included two asterisk ones as a landscape versions (11x8.5") as a bonus. They just looked better landscape I think? Anyway I bundled those in for free, lol. Again 300 dpi and PSD and individual PNG files.


This is my "Sandwashed Summer" kit, you saw a glimpse of it last week on this layout. It features all the papers, elements and alpha set featured below at a reduced price than buying separately. It's priced at $5.95 but right now it's got 30% off so it's $4.17

This is the Sandwashed Summer paper pack. It features 18 papers (14 patterned and 4 solids). Each paper is 12" x 12" @300 dpi and has a washed driftwood, beachy texture, kinda grungy too. Great for vacation or pool photo's. Priced at $2.95 on sale this week at $2.07 (or in the kit above!)

Also available in the summer kit or separately is the Sandwashed Summer Element pack. It's full of stuff! Complete list is viewable on the packaging (click to enlarge). The element pack is $2.95 on sale this week at $2.07

Last up for the summer kit is this alpha set, available for $1.95 on sale this week for $1.47 or you can get it in the combo kit above. The alpha is approx 2.5" tall, orange with blue polka dots. The alpha has had a gel action applied to it.

As a part of this store opening celebration we were asked to do grab-bags. I will confess that I have never purchased one, so the concept was a little lost on me. Anyway after some conversations etc I think I got the idea. So you can find my grab-bag here for $1.99 and although I cannot tell you what's in it, I can say that it has 6 downloads and is 107mb and it does have a variety of products in it.

I also put my older couple of kits in the store "Let it Snow" and "Vintage Christmas" which are both in the sale at just $3.50 this week!

Scrapstreet August issue!

Little late with this but wanted to let you all know that the August Scrapstreet edition is now available online! This one is packed at 50 pages!

So much to see in this issue! As usual it's jam packed with stuff! The latest issue has my hybrid column which this month features printing white text on layouts. July Round-Up

In keeping with every month I do Katie's round-up, and July will be no different! I really love doing these! Was gonna post this yesterday but got sidetracked with the digi store wrinkles that needed ironing out. Had my stuff tested this morning and looks like I did everything right this time! woohooo! go me! It's so much to learn though. But I am getting there.

What books and/or magazines did I read this month?
No books (nothing new there!). Lots of scrapbook magazines. Especially this one:

Love me some Simple Scrapbooks! I get it every issue (bi-monthly) and this issue ROCKED! Loved everything in it! Lately Simple has really been great! Also read this one:

enjoyed this one too. For me it's better than CK but not up there with SS. Simple will always be my favorite I think.

What movies and/or tv shows did I watch this month?

Movies: not many. Not that I remember. What is it with my memory? Oh we watched "300". Not a bad movie, I loved the cinematography in it. The storyline was good, but the fighting scenes were just awesome!

What else? Danged if I can remember any other movies! TV well the usual stuff. Psych and Monk started again so put those on the DVR.

What special days did I celebrate and how?

Um, are there any in July? Beside the 4th, which we stayed home cos the dogs hate fireworks! Simon's birthday was this month as I remember. We went out for a meal with him and some other friends.

What gifts did I give and/or receive?

Sent off a couple of RAKs (random acts of kindness). Got a couple too! Erin sent me a lovely package which I got earlier this week. Loving the prima acrylic D's! So awesome!

What illnesses or health concerns did I have?

Allergies! That one word can say so much! I had such a bad time in July with my allergies. Had a weekend where I was just completely stuffed up. I have some meds but they aren't that effective. Got a doc's appointment on Monday 6th so hopefully get something good before my head explodes.

What fun things did I do with my friends and/or family?

Went out to Indian restaurant with some friends, love that place. Really into Indian curries. We actually went there on multiple occassions with different friends, lol. Fun hanging out with Simon and Daryll again, we don't see them much. Should make more effort to see Daryll now he lives locally. Oh and we took Gautam and Jos to "follow your heart". Mmmmm nice food there! Killer chocolate raspberry cake! Totally overate though!

What new foods, recipes or restaurants did I try this month?

None that I remember. We went to the usual places. With Bob working some CRAZY hours this month we didn't get chance to go anywhere really or try anything new. In fact I had to throw food out cos most nights he had to work.

What special or unusual purchases did I make?

I actually had to buy cardstock and adhesive this month! Most purchases I make now are usually tools. Ran out of white and black cardstock! Can you believe that? I also bought some more rhinestones (shut up Nancy and Robin your "queen of bling" title is safe from me!). I've been looking for a permanant adhesive cartridge for my little "Xyron X" but no-one locally seems to be selling them (or all sold out!).

What were this month's disappointments?

Didn't have any. Other than the never ending snotfest that is my allergies. Really thought I was doing pretty well this year till July hit. I'm still not 100% even with the meds I'm on. Other than that, the lack of time Bob and I spent together was a downer. Hopefully this game gets accepted soon and we can get back to a normal routine! Oh and my computer issues this month! ARGH!

What were my accomplishments this month?

Well a great month! Got a few things picked up for publication. Also some more things to do for magazines. Joined the EDS CT. More articles at scrapstreet. Basically just really busy! Oh and had stuff at CHA on the one heart... one mind booth, as well as in their catalogue! Should get that soon. Got my copy of "Scrapbook and Cards today" with my card in.

Anything else noteworthy to record?

July marked the start of my newsletter going automatic! Bob helped me BIGTIME on this. He set it all up for me and now I just hit send and off it goes! Can I just say what a time saver this is? Cos my husband ROCKS! He really does! The guy is so supportive and helps where he can, especially with all the technical stuff. Love him to bits!

Grand Opening on the 6th!!!

Well the grand opening for the TTS DIGI STORE has been announced! I'm still busy creating, and getting around to uploading and pricing stuff in the store. Have you seen the list of designers I'm with? I can't even believe I'm on A store, let alone with such fabulous designers!

Not gonna give ya the link yet, that'll come Monday once we've all uploaded and checked and rechecked everything. No doubt all my stuff will be wrong, mispelled and linked to the wrong downloads lol! So we're giving ourselves the weekend to 'test' it all. I have butterflies!

Layout Sketch August

It's the first of the month so it's layout sketch day! Hope everyone is up for this challenge this month! I just loved this template so hope you all do too! The digital template can be downloaded here
