Card Sketch Nov #4

Wednesday, November 28, 2007

So great to see everyone enjoying the sketches! I think I am almost caught up on comments from last weeks sketch, some great cards with that (and the embellishment challenge - go button users!!!). Lets see what you can do with this weeks sketch! As always the digital template is available for download here.

This was one of those occasions where I doodled out the sketch first, THEN made the card, but you can tell it's the sketch. I really am doing great using my scraps up! This pp scrap has been sitting in my scrap pile for quite a while! And yes, darn inking again!!! Just had to! Any bets on what my next technique phase will be? lol!

Supplies: Cardstock: DCWV & Worldwin; Patterned paper: Pressed Petals; Die cut label: MME; Eyelets: Boxer Scrapbooks: Ribbon: Heidi Swapp; Ink: Around the Block

I love it when the girls start sending in their cards. Seeing all the different takes on the sketch, different colors, themes, and product. This card from Kelly really shows that the sketch can look great for Christmas cards! Love this one, great card Kelly!

Supplies: KI memories and Shabby Princess patterned papers, white cardstock, bobbin ribbon, Stampin Up ink, Bella brads and Montarga stamp

Love this card by my Mum! Yep Mum you did great this week. I am rather fond of this patterned paper, and love that she used it for the flower vase. Also stamping! Yay, go my Mum!!!

Beautiful card as always by Wendy. Totally vintage look and feel. Great stamping, love that background stamp! Beautiful!

Jo chose a totally fun look for this weeks card, but this shows how versatile the sketch can be! Love the scenic route and the colors on this one! Great card Jo!

This one is beautiful! The soft and subtle papers really go well with the cards theme. And like me Jackie is hellbent on using up all those scraps we have lying around! Great card!

Digital cards have so much potential, you can use them as a jpg and send via email or blogs. Or you can print them out. Angela's is almost done with her holiday cards for this year (I can gloat that I only have ONE left to make!). Love the lace on this one!

As always Pearl adds her own funk and flair to any sketch, and how fun is this one? Totally C-U-T-E! The DCWV papers are so adorable!

Cheryl put her own twist on the sketch with this layered card, Love the black and pink, such a great color. Nice simple and stunning!

Krista adds another digital card into the mix, and I am loving the swirls girl! Plus the use of the tag, very original! Great card!

Love the simplicity of the layering on this design. It could be an all time classic.
