Manufacturer Monday: Daisy Bucket - wk4

Happy Memorial Day! Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend. We've had fun, been busy out in the garden doing maintenance and planting seeds. Yesterday we had a bumper cooking session which was so yummy!

Final week of the May Manufacturer Monday with Daisy Bucket. I have had lots of fun this month using up the last few supplies I had. That does seem to be key for me doing projects for this theme. I learned that I don't use die cuts that much. I had a few of the Daisy Bucket die cuts but rarely used them. I did force myself this week though, and managed to use a couple.

Supplies: Papers & Die cuts: Daisy Bucket; Ribbon: May Arts; Flowers: Bazzill; Brads:MM; Rub-ons: PSX

I can't tell you how long I have had some of the supplies I've used this week. The Daisy Bucket is over a year old, rub-ons are VERY old, the epoxy overlay stickers are EXTREMELY old! I think the newest product is the Bazzill flowers. I really love to use up that old stash!!!

Supplies: Papers & Die cuts: Daisy Bucket; Rub-ons: DCWV; Epoxy Overlays: Sticko (EK Success);

I seem to be in either a fussy throw it all on a project, or simple phase. No middle ground lately.

Supplies: Papers & Die cuts: Daisy Bucket; Flowers: Bazzill; Brads:MM; Rub-ons: DCWV

On to another manufacturer next month. Not sure who yet. I need to clear off the scrap table and start on some new projects! Back later today with the FF winner.

More soon!

Yep another matching envelope. I have to say I do love making making envelopes! They just add so much to a card, really adds that finishing touch!

Stamping: Good Kitty!

Saturday, May 24, 2008

I've had these blank take-out containers for a while, and I figured I'd do a little stamping project with them. And I figure kill two birds with one stone, and get out some Boxer product too! All the supplies are from Boxer, with a little added glitter from that Stardust Sakura pen that I cannot stop using!

Supplies: Boxer woof texture paper, cat texture paper, orange dot, cat stamps, meow ribbon

To cover the take out box, I used that old staple adhesive - the glue stick! I'm a firm believer that the humble glue stick is severely overlooked when it comes to scrapbooking and paper crafts.

More stamping every Saturday

Have a great weekend!

Theme: Congratulations!

Thursday, May 22, 2008

Theme Thursday, and time for more congratulations cards. Spurned on my mission to use more stash I decided to really dig through the drawers and find things with a congratulations theme. I already used similar paper from DCWV earlier this month but dug out the different color sheets and decided that they would make good baby cards, being that they were pink, blue and miscellaneous.

Now you will notice all three cards are based on a sketch from April. I didn't plan on them all being the same, but it just came out that way. I figure if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

Supplies: Cardstock, paper, sticker: DCWV; charm: Target; Ribbon: Daisy D's; Scissors: Fiskars; Pen: Sakura Stardust

I've been thinking about buying some scallop punches lately, but I figure I have scallop scissors they work, why bother? Maybe I will later down the line, but right now I'm doing fine with my scissors. I dug into my stash with these congrats charms, they were from Target in a card making set.

Supplies: Cardstock, paper: DCWV; Ribbon: Making Memories; Stamp: Boxer; Brads: one heart... one mind; Scissors: Fiskars; Pen: Sakura Stardust

Of course blue and pink are great, but if you don't know the baby's sex then you can settle on a neutral color, green and yellow work great for this. You can't really see but the little charm says "bundle" hence the "of joy".

More congratulations cards next week!
